1. Return Eligibility
Customers may request a return subject to the following conditions:
- The return request must be initiated within 2 days from the date of delivery
- Products must be unused, unwashed, unworn, and in original condition
- All original tags, labels, packaging, and accessories must be intact
- Proof of purchase (order confirmation or invoice) is mandatory
We reserve the right to reject returns that do not comply with the above conditions.
2. Non-Returnable and Non-Refundable Items
Due to hygiene, safety, and regulatory reasons, the following items are not eligible for return or refund:
- Baby innerwear, diapers, and undergarments
- Socks, mittens, caps, or accessories if packaging has been opened
- Baby personal care, grooming, or hygiene products
- Customized or made-to-order products
- Clearance, discounted, or sale items
- Gift cards or store credits
This exclusion is in accordance with standard e-commerce hygiene policies for infant products.
3. Return Process
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
To initiate a return, customers must:
- Contact us at support@nilenathi.com within the eligible return period
- Provide order number, product details, and reason for return
- Receive return authorization and instructions from our support team
- Returns sent without prior authorization may not be accepted or refunded.
4. Refund Policy
Upon receipt and inspection of the returned item:
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout
- Approved refunds will be processed within [5–10] business days

- Shipping charges, COD fees, and handling fees are non-refundable
Refund processing time may vary depending on the payment provider or bank.
5. Exchanges
Exchanges are permitted only in the following cases:
- Manufacturing defects
- Damaged products received
- Incorrect item or size shipped by us
Exchange requests must be reported within 48 hours of delivery along with photo or video evidence.
Subject to stock availability, we will replace the item or issue a refund.
6. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, you must:
- Notify us within 48 hours of delivery
- Provide clear photographic or video proof
Failure to notify within the stipulated time may result in rejection of the claim.
7. Return Shipping
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error
- We recommend using a trackable and insured courier service
- We are not liable for loss or damage during return transit
8. Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders
For COD orders, refunds (if approved) will be processed via:
- Bank transfer, UPI, or store credit (as applicable)
COD convenience charges, if any, are non-refundable.
9. Cancellation Policy
Orders may be cancelled before dispatch only.
Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled and must follow the return process outlined above.
10. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited strictly to the purchase value of the product. We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from product use.
11. Governing Law
This Policy shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
12. Policy Modifications
We reserve the right to modify or update this Policy at any time without prior notice. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting on the website.
